Founder and General Manager
Sue Diepeveen
Meet Sue, the leader behind The Drama Factory. She's an actress and theatre practitioner who created this haven in the bustling Helderberg basin, driven by her struggle to find an affordable, secure space for herself and fellow creatives to rehearse and perform.
With a background in Speech and Drama, she's used the space to mentor young actors, technicians, and stage managers. Over the years, the Drama Factory has evolved into a thriving hub for the arts in an industrial area, offering ample parking and a noise-free environment.
Sue is a proud partner of companies like Unlikely Productions whose recent productions have garnered Fleur Du Cap Theatre awards. Her latest project is a new children’s work, The Emperor’s New Clothes, which opened recently to the delight of audiences.
Now, as an established theatre space, The Drama Factory is expanding its production capacity, ushering in a new era of creativity and artistry.
