  • The Marvellous Wonderettes

    'The Marvelous Wonderettes' is an Off-Broadway jukebox musical, written by Rodger Bean and it earned Origen Productions two Fleur du Cap nominations in 2022. Audiences will be transported to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where they will meet the Wonderettes: Cindy Lou, Missy, Suzy and Betty Jean - four girls with dreams as big as their crinoline skirts.

    The Wonderettes will thrill audiences with classic hits from the 50’s and 60's that we all love. Hits such as “Lollipop”, “Stupid Cupid”, “Dream Lover”, “Respect”, “You don’t own me” and so much more. Audiences have never had this much fun at prom, and they never will forget this must-take trip down memory lane.

We lost our roof in the wind

Dear Patrons

We were not unscathed by the terrible winds that have wrecked havoc in the Cape. We lost part of our roof but our spirits are undaunted, shows will resume as soon as we have our roof back in its rightful place.

  • Party Time!

    We hosted our very first nightclub-style party this August as we celebrated FOH manager Angie’s birthday.

    The whole foyer and auditorium was transformed into a nightclub and friends and family danced the night away proving that this space is as versatile as it is cosy.

    It is great to be able to party in a safe environment and we were pleased to be able to put our new moving head LED lights to good use. These were a very generous gift from a patron which is mind-blowing and completely humbling.

    Though we have a fresh ‘lick of paint’, you can find the same booking system under ‘Whats On’.
